Superintendent Search Screening/Interview Committee

Would you like to be on the Screening/Interview Committee for the 509J Superintendent Search?

The Jefferson County 509J School Board is asking for assistance in selecting the district’s next superintendent.

The Board will be selecting up to ten individuals (staff and non-staff) to assist in the application screening and interview process to be held on the dates listed below. If interested, please complete the following application. If you have additional questions please contact Cindy Stanfield, Executive Assistant, at 541-475-0341 or cstanfield@509j.net.

This completed and signed application must be returned to Cindy Stanfield by 5:00 p.m. on February 6, 2017, at the District Support Services Building, 445 SE Buff Street, Madras, Oregon, or e-mailed to cstanfield@509j.net.
Screening committee members will be chosen by the Board on February 13, 2017. Successful applicants will be contacted on February 14th.


NOTICE OF 509J Budget Committee Position VACANCIES

The Jefferson County School District Board of Directors is accepting applications from interested community members who would like to fill two three-year budget committee positions. The Board will review applications and appointments will be made at the January 23rd Board Meeting. The appointments would become effective immediately upon appointment and end June 30, 2019. To be eligible for
appointment, the candidate:
1. Must live in Jefferson County
2. Must not be an officer or employee of Jefferson County School District
3. Must be a qualified voter of the District.
Applications may be obtained at the District Office at 445 SE Buff Street or on our website at http://www.jcsd.k12.or.us. The positions will be open until filled or until first official Budget Meeting in the spring of 2017. Please return your application to the District Office.
